Here are a few things to finish up the course:

1) Projects are due 10/13

2) Make sure you do run next week to stay into it so you can increase your success at the 5K.

3) If you missed 1 or more days of class, please complete the test below and email me your answers the latest by Sunday evening 11:59PM 10/11. This way you have 9 days to complete the test.

4) Some want to make up a Lake Fayetteville run. This must be done by going to Fleet Feet on Thursday nights. Go there before 6 pm as the run starts at 6 and afterward ask for proof that you completed it (they will provide a letter).

If you have any questions, I will have access to the Internet next week so email me.

Jogging TEST questions:

(20 points for a total of 10 %)

1)You just completed an 8 week beginning jogging program and successfully completed a 5 K run.  Keeping your last 8 week training program and the training principles (specificity, overload, FITT principle) in mind, create a new 8 week program to train for a 10 K run which you want to run in less than 60 minutes.   (10 points)

2)Explain in detail on how you incorporated each of the training principles in your training plan (specificity, overload and FITT principle). (5 points)

3)Using the Internet, find 5 technologies (tools) that could help, motivate, inspire and assist you in your running training program. List the tool, list the URL where you can find more information about the tool and write one paragraph explaining how it can help you as a runner. (5 points)
